Jean Pierre Rousselet signature

Acrylic painting on canvas, measuring 48 x 60 inches

A face behind a prophet on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel inspired the artist to create an angel who has no age, no sex and never dyes. The artist chosen pallet with opposite colors of the spectrum, oranges and violets brought this painting alive. The resembling découpage look of the figure on top of the background was also an aspect sought by the artist which creates an extraordinary look.

Closer look

Yellow, orange, red and violet or purple traverses the painting as a rainbow crossing the sky.

Powerful angelical expression, looking from above. "Angel" in greek is written on his right.

A papercut or découpage (French) is the look the artist wants to resemble.
